Turmeric is a spice native to India. It is produced from the rhizome of a flowering tropical plant related to ginger. It is used both as an herbal supplement and seasoning. It is available both dried and fresh

Health Benefits:

  • Anti-inflammatory (activate turmeric with black pepper)

  • Antioxidant

  • May help improve memory

  • May lower risk of heart disease

  • May help boost mood

  • Can help ease joint pain

Best prepared with curries, rice, eggs, breads, and even can be used to make a great latte!
